What is Textile?
Generally Textile means cloth or fabric. Textile is derived from a Latin word “Textils”, past participle of “texere” which means “to weave”. Textile or cloth is a flexible material which is prepared from the network of natural or artificial fibres known as yarn. Textile is formed by knitting, weaving, knotting, crocheting and other techniques. The history of textile is as old as human civilization.
