Textile Engineering is a part of engineering which includes the study on textile raw materials, textile production, textile processing etc. It is the study of various principles where these principles are applied for the processing and production of all kinds of textile fabric and yarn from textile fibres. The physical and chemical properties which learned are utilized for the detailed study and analysis of the behaviour of textile fibres.

It is an innovative field .The techniques of production changes to get a better quality fabrics and to increase the production rate. The Textile Engineering is also known as Textile Technology.
