Textile is the greatest source of economic growth of Bangladesh. Bangladesh earn more than 80% of total exporting income by garments. So textile is the major foreign earning sector. Bangladesh is in 3rd position in exporting garments. The Bangladesh textile industry rapidly growing with both expanding domestic and Export market. Also Bangladesh need Textile Engineers (B.Sc.) until 2020. So Textile Engineering is a great subject for the student who’s aim is to be a Engineer in Bangladesh. Textile Engineering courses deal with the application of scientific and engineering principles to the design and control of all aspects of fiber, textile, and apparel processes, products, and machinery. These include natural and man-made materials, interaction of materials with machines, safety and health, energy conservation, and waste and pollution control. Additionally, students are given experience in plant design and layout, machine and wet process design and improvement, and designing and creating textile products. Throughout the Textile Engineering curriculum, students take classes from other engineering and disciplines including: Mechanical, Chemical, Materials and Industrial Engineering Departments. For completing B.Sc. in Textile in Bangladesh have a Textile Engineering University and four complete Textile Engineering Colleges.
